# Checkin Gameplay

### 1. Rules

* Checkin and earn points:
  * checkins
  * tipping other checkins
  * referring friends
* Note: to avoid spamming we are rewarding points for only **max of 10 checkins/day**

### **2. How to Checkin**

There are two ways to check in:

#### 2-1. Checking In on Warpcast:

1. Tag @checkin in a new cast in Warpcast
2. Copy/paste GoogleMaps link for the location
3. Cast to the /checkin channel and earn points

#### 2-2. Checking In on Checkin Caster client:

Note:

* If you check in with our client app, you will get 5x points compared to from Warpcast client!

1. Install Checkin Caster client at <https://app.checkincaster.xyz>
2. Click on location pin and select location from dropdown
3. Cast to the /checkin channel and earn Points

### **3. Point Calculations**

Points can be earned in a variety of ways:

* checkins (with Warpcast or Checkin Caster client, attaching photos and video etc.)
* sending $DEGEN tips to others checking in
* referring friends
* checking-in with friends

### 4. Code of Conduct

* Eligibility and Participation Requirements
  * Checkin is meant for genuine participants and users of Checkin. We reserve the right to determine what is an eligible and ineligible entry.
* Checkin Verification Process
  * Points are rewarded for actions that increase the likelihood of a real checkin. Checkin client will be utilizing geolocation data and priority access given to power badge holders and manually onboarded users.
* Anti-Fraud and Anti-Spam Measures
  * Automated checkins by bots are prohibited. We will be regularly auditing checkins and reserve the right to request additional verification to confirm the legitimacy of a checkin. We are also limiting to 10 checkins per day to combat against fraud and spam. We will not count checkins to the same location more than once per day to reduce spam
  * if you check in twice or more within 30mins, we only give points for one checkin
  * We only count one time for the checkin
  * You can only earn points once per day for checking into the same location, even if you check in multiple times
  * The first violation deducts points you earned from that violation, and the second violation disqualifies you to get more points
* Fair Play and Ethics
  * We encourage ethical behavior and fair play, prohibiting participants from using fake accounts, colluding with business owners, or engaging in any other deceptive practices. Any attempt to cheat, including manipulating checkins, could result in disqualification.
* Penalties and Consequences for Misconduct
  * Penalties for violating the code of conduct, could range from point deductions and disqualification to banning from the client, depending on the severity of the misconduct.
